Wildlife: Going back through the archives

21st April 2017

It's often worth re-visiting old images. Not only is it a wonderful trip down memory lane, it often unearths some gems that you might have overlooked in the haste of processing through hundreds of images from a trip.

I was recently scouring my libraries for a particular client request and I came across some beautiful images that I had not used for anything before. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed finding them again!

On the banks of the Luangwa River in Zambia, three young male lions greet each other, forming bonds that will serve them well as they mature.

South Luangwa elephants quench vast thirsts at a lagoon in Nsefu Sector.

Toying with the idea of crossing the river, a group of Thornicroft's Giraffe gather near the water's edge.

Photo comment By Allan Semmler: Love the Giraffe, great photo.
Photo comment By Edward Selfe: Allan - thanks for your comment. I love it too. The light in the early dry-season is so special, although the sightings tend to hot up later in the year!
